What is it?
Secutor Prime is the
world's first product to perform automated security
compliance, patch assessment, and remediation using the new security
automation XML files developed by the National
Institute
of Standards
and Technology (NIST), the MITRE
Corporation and other government and industry contributors.
Secutor Prime was
recently awarded official SCAP validation by NIST. The
product
supports all Windows content and will support others as
they are released (including Solaris and Red Hat Linux). Secutor
Prime will assess your systems to the new Federal Desktop Core
Configuration (FDCC) requirements. The Free Edition (download it
below) does this for free
for non-commercial use.
Pretty cool, eh? If you wish
to automatically reconfigure your machines to meet the FDCC
requirements or define policy exceptions to the FDCC, you can do that
too using the affordable commercial version of the product.
